Jes Stringfield is a Journalism and Political Science double major at Miami University of Ohio. She is a Senior-ish and will graduate in fall 2011. She draws inspiration for her stories by being a “fly on the wall” yet is not afraid to put herself out on a limb to make a point.
After an amazing experience in Washington D.C. as part of the Inside Washington program at Miami and an internship with NBC’s Meet the Press, she has decided to take her writing in a different direction. After writing about politics, she wanted a change…..so for the time being, stories on this blog will be about bringing the past into the present with retro clothing, music, and culture stories that aim to be diverse and innovative. Take a walk on the wild side!
